Transforming organic waste into sustainable life
Based in Helsinki and operating in Ghana, GreenCircularBioSolutions bridges Nordic clean technology with African agriculture. Through Black Soldier Fly bioconversion, we turn municipal and agricultural organic waste into high-grade insect protein for poultry and organic frass fertilizer for regenerative farming.

Nordic expertise meets Ghanaian agriculture
With over 15 years living and working in Finland, our leadership saw an immense opportunity to mediate proven Nordic technology transfer into West Africa. By aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, we tackle mounting urban waste challenges while establishing clean, reliable, and localized supply chains for livestock farmers and local communities.

Empowering farmers with circular bio-solutions
Our closed-loop Black Soldier Fly process solves two urgent food production hurdles at once. We produce nutrient-dense insect protein that optimizes poultry flock health, while generating nutrient-rich organic frass fertilizer that restores depleted soils. This circular model retains economic value locally, benefiting poultry breeders, crop growers, and regional distributors.

Scaling our vision for sustainable food security
Ghana’s poultry sector hosts an estimated 40 to 60 million birds, yet remains heavily dependent on imported meat and feed ingredients. Following our pilot phase validating production metrics and unit economics, our 3- to 5-year roadmap targets capturing 0.50% of the addressable poultry feed market—nourishing 200,000 to 300,000 birds while diverting thousands of tons of organic waste.
"By pioneering circular biotechnology between Finland and Ghana, we are demonstrating that environmental cleanup, livestock nutrition, and regional prosperity can thrive together in a unified circular economy."
